The training in document assessment of original, physical documents consists of theory and multiple practical excercises.
Throughout the course, different ID documents will be presented, such as passports and civil documents, like birth certificates and marriage certificates. The course also covers how to assess copies of ID documents and various types of tactical information that can be read in the document. On the course, the participants will also be informed of trends of ID document misuse in order to raise awareness of what is detectable and what to pay special attention to when handling ID documents.
The course focused on how to check an original ID document when you are handling it. Among other things, we take a closer look at what technical information is found in travel documents with passports as the starting point. In addition, we will show you how you can use the readable information in civil documents to check the authenticity of documents with few security elements.
