The Danish National ID Centre is now established
As of 1 January 2018, the Danish National ID Centre is established and ready to advise and assist Danish authorities.
The centre will advise authorities regarding questions of identity determination and ID control of foreign nationals. This means, among other things, that technical examinations of affected identity documents can be carried out in the Danish National ID Centre's forensic laboratory.
You can read more about the Danish National ID Centre's tasks on this website (nidc.dk). The website will be continuously developed. Among other things, it will include the possibility of signing up for automatic news updates as well as the possibility for relevant authorities, through a log-in feature, to gain access to internal reports and analyses.
