The Danish National ID Centre has issued an alert about blank stolen German Fiktionsbescheinigung. A Fiktionsbescheinigung is a document which proves that a third-country national who has a temporary residence permit in Germany has applied for an issuance or extension of the permit. A Fiktionsbescheinigung will be issued for the time required by the German immigration authorities to process the application and will be valid as a travel document within the Schengen area.
